Raspberry picking in Washington state typically starts in June and peaks in July and August, but fall varieties are also available through October. Be sure to consider whether you want seeded or seedless raspberries!

Bailey Family Farm

A fifth-generation farm, Bailey Family farm is located in the Snohomish River Valley. The farm offers more than 50 acres for picking fruits and vegetables. From June to October, you can pick berries, apples, and pumpkins, with raspberries available starting in July. 

Here, you’ll enjoy the open sky while wandering through large berry bushes — and, of course, finding the perfect raspberries to indulge in.

Bill’s Berry Farm

Found in the Yakima Valley, this family-owned and -operated berry farm has eight different varieties of raspberries. And all of them are available for u-pick!

From the middle of June to October, you and your family or friends can pick raspberries on this 70-acre farmstead. The farm has been using sustainable, biological farming practices since the 1960s, allowing its team to retain the original owner’s apple orchards. Bill’s Berry Farm also encourages its visitors to learn more about sustainable living and outdoor education. 

Beyond berry picking, Bill’s Berry Farm hosts several festivals throughout the year, including an Apple Festival, Pumpkin Festival, and a Strawberry Jamboree.

Boxx Berry Farm

Boxx Berry Farm has been in Ferndale since 1960. Beautiful raspberries, a large farm space, views of mountains surrounding the area, and much more are what you can expect from a visit to this family-owned farm.

Haugen’s Raspberry Farm

Haugen’s Raspberry Farm grows blueberries and raspberries as their u-pick berries. A great choice for small children, they provide wearable baskets that make berry picking even easier.

Barbie’s Berries

Barbie’s Berries began specializing in fresh fruit and berries in 1996. They offer u-pick raspberries starting in late June through late July. Additionally, late-bearing bushes begin at the start of August until the labor day weekend. 

If you’re looking for fresh berries during the off season and wintertime, you can purchase frozen berries. Just call and make an appointment!
